Privacy policy
Who is responsible. Jeffrey Brugman, Calle Bogor 4, 29190 Málaga, villabotanicamalaga@gmail.com.
What we collect. The details you send us through our forms, by email, phone or WhatsApp: name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of guests and information about your group and stay. For a confirmed reservation we also collect the guest details that Spanish law requires.
Why. To answer your question or request, to prepare and carry out your reservation, and to meet our legal obligations, such as guest registration and tax records. The legal basis is the steps prior to and the performance of the rental agreement, and our legal obligations (art. 6.1 b and c GDPR). We do not use your details for marketing without your consent and never sell them.
Who processes them. Our website and forms are hosted by Wix.com, and we use Gmail (Google) for email. If you contact us through WhatsApp, WhatsApp (Meta) also processes your messages.
How long. We keep requests that do not lead to a reservation for up to one year. Reservation details are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights. You can ask us at any time to access, correct or delete your details, to restrict or object to their use, or to receive a copy. Just email us. You can also file a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider Wix may use cookies that are technically necessary for the website to work securely. The map on our homepage is provided by Google Maps; when it loads, Google may set its own cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
